| So many times other people are selfish with our lives. Instead of wanting what God has for us they push what they want for us. In the end this usually ends up benefiting them. One day we will learn to love each other with God's love. One day we will learn to have his vision for each other. A show of maturity in our relationships is when we let God love them instead of us manipulating them. I hope we can all help each other to love God instead of helping one another to love the world. Sadly, right now, I see some people I love being drawn away from God by other people who say they love them. However, God is still loving and being in control... |

| I was thinking today.."what are the things that really trouble our daily lives?" Here is what I came up with- let me know what you think...
What should I do today?
feeling down but not knowing why
Not wanting to do what you know you should do
talking about someone else
Listening to someone talk about someone else
not knowing what the order of importance is for the things you should do
being selfish
not taking time to breathe and enjoy the day
eating crappie food
not thinking about God and his ways
wanting something you can not or do not have
as i thought about this iprayed something for you and me.... God please help us to experience and trust in your love today... So that all these things will go away and we will know how to live and what to do today.
I hope your day was fulfilling... if not maybe tomorrow will be as you trust and experience God's love

| H-Town Baby! (Houston) Can you say FREEBIRDS! Its only the best steak, cheese, and cayenne tortilla, burrito that you will have ever have. Good times at the beach and the pool! Such a blast with everyone! You should have seen 9 of us packed into a dodge caravan...crazy. One of the best things was our sandcastle of epic proportions!
 
I also had time to talk with Paul (Amy's brother) about his new book. I am excited to see how the book does. It is from his heart, what he is concerned about. He wrote about how music is affecting this generation. So true. It amazes me how much people are consumed with music. When you give that much time and thought to something it has to effect the way you think. Which brings me back to the challenge of my life...Love not the world nor the things of it, if you do the love of the Father cannot occupy your life. |
